Saint Louis University, also known as the “Light of the North”, has held a tradition every December to literally light up the Baguio streets in their annual Lantern Parade. Every year, the theme for the parade changes. As everyone gathered to watch the parade that started from Upper Session Road and traveled down to Melvin Jones twe eagerly anticipated and watched in awe as the creatively made lanterns carried by the costumed parade participants painted the streets in vibrant colors in celebration of the beginning of Christmas season. In this collection of snapshots, we show you what went down.

Hydro Falls( Tuba Benguet)

It is my first time to explore this beutiful nature. I was with my group mates to do our travel vlog for our school requirement.  To get there, we took the jeepney bound for Camp 6. These jeepneys are located behind Jollibee Harrison, Baguio City.  As of this writing, the jeepney fare is Php 17.50 one way.

If you’re planning to go here, ask the driver to let you go down the bridge going to Hydro 1. There is another waterfalls on the opposite side of the mountain called Hydro 2. The Hydro 1 falls is located more or less a kilometer after the Lion’s head when you are coming from Baguio City.

Celebrate Christmas Day

Christmas Day is a holiday in many, but not all, countries. Many homes have Christmas trees and other decorations in the weeks leading to Christmas Day. Some workplaces hold Christmas parties prior to December 25. Festive activities include exchanging presents, singing Christmas songs, going to parties.

It’s a special time when children get presents from family, friends and Santa Claus, or Father Christmas. Christmas cards are also given or sent out prior to Christmas Day.

For some, Christmas is an exclusive family affair, while others invite friends to a Christmas buffet or pot luck meal. Churches have special services and may include a crèche or miniature Nativity scene.
